The task was to design a small but powerful Bluetooth speaker that is always on the go. The challenge was to create a design that is of great-value but still carries the Philips brand identity and design language. This is to compete with the other B brands who are offering very competitive price point in the Audio category. BT100 is designed to have minimum parts and tooling, yet the design is so simple that allows for various color combinations. You are certain to find a colour that matches your character.
BT100 can be charged with a micro-USB input, and has a microphone for call pick up. With an upwards firing 1.75” speaker, you can enjoy 360 powerful sound.
BT100 has sold almost 1 million units to date, and is one of the best-selling Bluetooth speaker by Philips.
