The DS6200 was created for the PC market, which allows user to dock, play, charge and sync directy from their iDevice to the computer.
DS6200 provides stereo sound in a compact size. The mushroom shaped design gives the impression of 360 sound. The overall product is lifted on a trumpet shaped bottom housing mimicking bass radiation.
The PC solution is to integrate a docking with the speaker so that user will be able to charge and play music from their Iphone/Ipod directly and not having too many cables on the workstation. Hence, the 30pin connector is built in to the right speaker for easy docking and charging. The controls are also simplified with minimal detailing.
