CHITRANGADA for Mahodari

This project started out with the intent of creating sarees that bring out the parallels 
in two seemingly different craft cultures of our country. 
It involved traveling to various clusters, working with artisans to develop a range of designs feasible for them that suited our requirements. The idea was to not change their existing vocabulary 
and work towards creating something new with it. 

The designs were created keeping a Target age group of women between 20 and 80 years of age
All the sarees in this collection are hand-woven, hand-dyed and also hand-embroidered. Here are just a few designs from the collection. Each piece is unique. We did not create multiple pieces with the same design so as to offer complete exclusivity to our customers.
Bangalore-Bareilly: This piece is created in Chiffon with Gara Jaal Embroidery
