Surface Development from Waste

SURFACE DEVELOPMENT WITH WASTE
The brief was to develop surfaces using waste materials on already existing denim patchwork designs for Rimagined, Bengaluru.
As part of this project, a group of first generation artisans were trained in the crafts of hand embroidery and applique.
They then executed the production orders for the designs developed.
All materials used for the denim patchwork, applique and embroidery,
are from wastes generated by factories, tailoring units and export rejects.
