Objectives and Key Results (OKR) Dashboard

Objectives and Key Results (OKR) is a popular technique for setting and communicating goals and results in organizations. Its main goal is to connect company, team and personal objectives to measurable results, making people move together in right direction. Objectives are what the organization or individual want to accomplish, and are typically subjective/qualitative. Key results are concrete, specific, and measurable. They describe how you will accomplish the related objective, and measure whether you accomplished the objective or not. Google suggests that employees should achieve about 70% of their OKRs each quarter.
When the employee needs to view the details of Individual Objectives, he can click and drill down to see the details such as the corresponding key results, the progress percentage, recent activitives, similar objectives, contributors and the progress over time. The Objectives are open to the entire company and can be viewed by all employees irrespective of hierarchy and designation.
Every Employee will have their own Objectives and Key Results assigned by their respective managers. Employees can also assign or create their own objectives and show progress. When the Objective or Key Result is created, it would be sent to Managers and Service Owners to check if it aligns with the Overall company objective. Employees can also periodically update their progress percentage against their assigned objectives and key results and send it to the managers for approval.
Creating an Objective is easy than ever. Clicking on the "Create Objective" opens up a simple popup where the user can enter the title of the objective along with the start and end date of the objective. Once created, it will be sent to the service owners/managers for approval, after which it will be added to the employee dashboard.
Against every objective one or more key results can be added which will be the contributors for the particular Objective. The progress of these key results can be automatically tracked by connecting them with the available metrics in the employee dashboard. Managers can also create and assign key results to their reportees.
OKR Hierarchy shows the overall flow of the Objectives from the Company's Vision and the various available services and LOBs. These objectives that are created by the service owners are broken down into chunks aligning to the main objective and passed on to the various levels of employees in the organization.
Employees can further drill down to see how the Objectives are broken down and assigned across the organization for various sets of employees.
