This large sculpt of the famous charactee was comissioned by Aardman for the launch of a new TV series starring Wallace and Griomit in 2011. The character travelled around the country to shopping centres to promote the new series 'Wallace & Gromit, present a world of inventions'.
When the rioad show was over it was decided to display Wallace permanently in the Aardman HQ reception.

First Wallace is sculpted in Polystyrene, from an actual puppet provided by Aardman Animations.
It's important that all the details are correct and correspond with the real character.
Finally al;l the painting is complete and he is ready for his public.
