I was asked by the UK design manager for Thierry Mugler, Rachel Snmith, to help create this display for Selfridges in London W1, one month prior to the launch in Europe. #
The challenge was to re-create the sculpted perfume bottles to look like metal, displayed on glowing cilynders of pink acrylic, whilst paying due homage to the original sculptural art work on the bottles.

After sculpting the head of the Womanity perfume bottle by hand, a mould was taken to head to the next stage.
This next stage was to cast the heads in fiberglass with metal powders in the resin. These metal powders allow the castings to be polished to a deep metallic luster.
Once finished they were mounted onto acrylic tubes with internal graphics and lighting to complete the effect.
These were displayed in Selfridges in London, Manchester and Birmingham and attended the fragrance launch at London's Tate Modern.
