Inspired by the swaying motion of the Palm Parlor, I wanted to create a plant stand that would emphasis this movement. This plant stand is created from ash laminations of a single arc. The base is formed from the intersection of two arcs, creating a rotationally symetical form. This allows the plant to spin and rock in multiple direction.

The plant pot is tension fitted within four laminations which are structurally and visually supported by smaller struts that meet in the middle. The struts limits the flex of the laminations, increasing the stability of the holder.
