Deiseal (sun-wise) is a creative ensemble of three artist (Antony Lyons, Niall O'Neill and Holger Lönze) collaborating on larger projects that address themes of time, paths and portals in the landscape. Combining innovative craft-based artistic approaches with interdisciplinary knowledge of fields such as archaeology, geology and landscape studies, Deiseal's approach is to weave elements of sculpture, design and research into a poetic synthesis, engaging with sites in a spatial and deeply connected way, fusing the traditional with contemporary digital techniques. At the inception of a project, we extensively explore the setting, amassing relevant historical and cultural information. The results celebrate the essence of place in a timeless, striking way.

As solo artists, there is a long successful track record of major public works in Ireland and England. We have long-term associations with specialist providers such as foundries, CNC/laser studios, vitreous enamel studios, structural engineers and other technical support.
