I was tasked with redesigning & coding out a website of my choice. I chose Pearl Bakery in Portland, OR. Staying strong to the company’s strong, small-business roots, I updated their brand style. My goal was to appeal to the young, hip culture in Portland. By creating a site that is easily navigable and incorporating strong visuals that guide the viewer’s eye, the Bakery appeals to a wider demographic.
