I took part in the 2014 100 Days Project and drew animal puns. Most ideas were mine, while some were ones I just couldn't resist doing my take on. I wanted to rediscover my drawing style again so each drawing was a mix of ink pen, watercolour pencil, charcoal and white ink. Drawing is a discipline and I found it really difficult to draw every single day. There were a lot of catch up days. I don't feel like there are any finished drawings in this collection but it did gave me a chance to flesh out some characters and ideas.

 

Several drawings were submitted to the 2016 edition of the Kiwi Diary and I was delighted to see that two animal puns were selected, especially as I didn't expect one of these to even be considered.
