The intervention is located in an urban void, located in Teatinos, Malaga. The proposal for this site has the purpose of characterizing this void with a new program: a sports complex. It will work as a support for people living near or all the population of Malaga that wants to enjoy this space of sports and leisure.

The strategy is based on an urban reorganization, which redesign the void with a single piece so that it can establish a simple and clear dialogue with the landscape and its urban context. The visual relation with the auto-via is interrupted through a vegetal curtain that also makes the space better for its experience and activities abroad. The volumetry of pure form, is fragmented by its empty spaces that take the exterior to the interior of the building, creating a full-empty game that allows an experience with the green spaces around and with the landscape of the mountains in the background.

The arrival to the space is done by the excavated parking, content between walls so that it is not seen in its totality, creating a visual barrier to the street. The entrance to the building is done with an approximation by a green space with vegetation. The proposed building is divided into two floors. That division is made by a general lobby, which organizes and distributes for all spaces of the program so that the route is fluid. 

The most public area - Cafeteria, Shop, Office, and sanitary facilities of the building is to the north-west, next to the entrance / vestibule. The Cafetaria lives for one of the patios with controlled openings that illuminate all its space, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The Shop, Offices and sanitary facilities are near to the Cafeteria preceded by a space of distribution. 

The space of Pools is of double height and is the previleged by the light of south, with hollows torn so that who practices in the water always has a visual contact with the outside. The Recreational Pool is a moment of leisure to enjoy the scenery and light with all the tranquility. From the bars, above the dressing rooms, you can see everything that is happening in the Pools, and you can also contemplate the vestibule area at a higher moment.

The gym area is accessed from the vestibule to a smaller space that distributes for the changing rooms and for the three exercise rooms, quite illuminated and all with different views for a better experience of the interior space with the outside.

The set works in unity and continuity of a space with other spaces in its interior connected to each other. Different heights and light create a unique spatiality of each program. 

The idea is that this urban void becomes a functional space for the population, a member of the city of Malaga, a nice space for competition, sport and relaxation.
