rainy-rainy-and rainy again.. this weekend started from the heavy rain at early morning. listening to the quiet sound of the rain rolling in the foliage, I decided to stay at home until the evening. actually this post not about the “rain and how how different and reflecting looks everything”, it’s about limitations and dedication. nothing can teach us better then limitation. limitation in space, in time and resources. there is two kind of limitation. the natural – unmanaged or uncontrolled when we have no another way just to obey and to do the best. and also – self-created, absolutely conscious creation of a situation and fictitious overcome the obstacles.
so i limited myself with the 135mm f/2 prime lens, 300 square meters and big amount of the wet, reflecting surfaces located in this territory plus small broken umbrella that saved me from the incessant rain. i find this series a little bit depressing and nostalgic but who said that autumn is about happiness and joyfulness, ok maybe a little bit.
part of images taken with ISO 3200, i wanted to prevent the postcard look of the super beautiful wet leaves and to bring a film grain effect. also i found myself in minor difficulties when taking pictures with the “long” 135mm lens – last years my use was concentrated on 50mm and lately 35mm prime.
