CelestiCon is an annual Gaming and RPG convention held in Fremont, California. I have designed their t-shirt art for the past five years. Each year has a different theme, ranging from “Zombies in Space” to “NCC-2013 USS CelestiCon,” inspired by Star Trek. I painted each poster in Photoshop after scanning my hand sketches. The goal of the posters as expressed by con Director Kris Miller are to convey a sense of fun in a comic-book style fashioned after old Flash Gordon comic books from the Golden Age.
