"Bugstplat" is one of the military terms given by the drone operators to describe the many "unwanted or un-neccessary" hits on civilians by mis-fired or poorly aimed weapons.

Began this one in 2014 during the conflicts in Palestine, and couldn't finish it at the time.

Completed in 2015 in the apex of the Syrian Refugee Crisis.

Same story...again...and again.

Collateral damage is another (more familiar) military term which describes the excess damage that is incurred as a result of a strike. This is a dream-like composite painting of many of the images I saw during the Israel/Palestine conflicts of 2014-15.
