A poster for the film The Grand Budapest Hotel by Wes Anderson. Wes Anderson films have a distinct and instantly recognizable cinematic style. Watching one of his films is like stepping into a different world, with a diverse palette of pastel colours, intricate interior details and a fascination for visual symmetry. 

 

After watching The Grand Budapest Hotel I wanted to create a poster in homage to Anderson's aesthetic on the film and celebrate the visual style that made me fall in love with him as a director. The design is very minimal and symmetrically balanced, drawing the attention to the central illustration which I created on Illustrator.
