Funds for this project were raised by "The Friends of Whitworth House" who are a registered charity, formed to provide support for vulnerable, homeless young women in Cambridge. Whitworth House was officially opened in May 1998 and currently accommodates up to thirteen residents, age 16 - 25 years of age.
