This wimmelbild of Rome was on exercise in isometric drawing. There are a lot of landmarks incorporated in this design like the Colosseum, Spanish Stairs and the many plaza's. Besides the ordinary tourists there are also a couple of famous people hidden in it, like the pope and the most famous character from the wimmelbild's genre: Waldo and even myself.
