We lose our sense of identity when we forget our history.
History is more alive than the future.
We try to bury our past, but it will follow us wherever we go.

We mistake cultural hegemony for globalisation.
and believe that imposition is freedom
History empowers you.
We need to appreciate and understand our cultural traditions and make that part of our legacy.
History is our cultural inheritance.
We are what we love, what we hate, what we think, what we do.
History is what you are.
In order to understand others, we need to know ourselves
In order to go places we need to know where we came from
History is who you want to be.
When we don’t know history, we don’t know anything.
History is everything but history.
