Brand ident for Cinémathèque suisse
Jannuzzi Smith have designed and produced an animated ident for Cinémathèque suisse. The sequence precedes and brands the institution’s films screened in cinemas, presented on DVDs, and streamed online: a short introduction with a simple, strong presence that is neutral in tone, respecting the content that follows. The piece includes a sound logo based on the traditional sine-wave test signal, but with the richer resonance of the glass harp, played and recorded by Geneva-based musician and sound engineer Martin Stricker. The ident has been created in a range of high-resolution cinema formats, with five-point-one surround sound.
