Narrativensaio is a portuguese theatre company based in Porto. Founded in 2014, its main objectives are the creation and presentation of various genres of theatre shows, with high standards of artistic and technical excellence.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I was approached by the company to design the new branding and colateral stationary.
The name 'Narrativensaio' is the junction of the words Narrativa (narrative) and Ensaio (rehearsal).
With this in mind, I tried to adress the company’s concept through a symbol. The first ‘i’ represents the writing (narrativa) and the exclamation point (‘!’) illustrates the action, therefore the rehearsal (ensaio). The union of both symbols is an equal sign (=) symbolizing theatre.
This concept was extended to the rest of the branding.
