La vera sfida del progetto è stata quella di sviluppare un linguaggio formale che unisse lo spirito tradizionale dello stile shabby chic ad un segno riconoscibilmente contemporaneo. Il risultato è un mix tra un’abitazione moderna e una calda casa di campagna inglese. Il tocco shabby è ottenuto soprattutto grazie alla posa di perline bianche decapate sulle pareti del living dall’effetto polveroso, quasi usurato accostate a degli imbottiti in tessuto color corda e avana. Luci tecniche a led, gole luminose e faretti, si contrappongono alle linee ricamate delle sospensioni in ferro color ruggine sul tavolo e in tessuto denim con finitura Vintage nella stanza da letto. Gli arredi presentano un’estetica pulita ed essenziale. La palette cromatica è sobria e vira sui toni del tortora. Con un taglio di ‘Fontaniana memoria’, il vetro della doccia si interfaccia con la toletta della stanza padronale. I bagni si sviluppano attorno ad un’unica doccia centrale, accessibile da ambo i lati e che funge da lucernario.
The real challenge of the project has been to develop a formal language that combining the traditional spirit of the shabby chic style to a recognizably contemporary sign. The result is a mix between a modern home and a warm English country house. The shabby touch is achieved mainly thanks to the laying of white beads on the living walls with a dusty effect, hardly used, juxtaposed with the upholstery fabric in havana colour. Technical led lights, gorges and bright spotlights, are opposed to the embroidered lines of the russet suspensions on the table and in denim fabric with vintage finish in the bedroom. The furnishings are clean and have an essential aesthetic. The color palette is sober and turns on the taupe tones. With a cut of ‘Fontana’s memory’, the glass of the shower interfaces itself with the dressing table of the main room. The bathrooms are built around one central shower, accessible from both sides and that serves as skylight.
