An apple a day is an information booklet, highlighting the nutrient content of individual fruits from 1940 to 1991.

Aims
This project was aimed at educating and informing the public about how agricultural techniques and advances have affected fruits nutritional content. The booklet also highlights the differences between organic and conventional produce.

Research
Composition of fruits 1st – 5th edition // www.infosthtics.com // Isotope: Design & context // Gerdarntz.org // NHS data // NCHS data brief // American college of cardiology // FDA (food and drugs association) // Ministry of Agriculture
The initial mind mapping stage. As you can see, for this project the beginning word was "food". Through branching off into different areas such as cultural food, supplements, GM produce etc. I had decided to focus my project on the depletion of nutrients in our fruits.
This is the main data that I recieved for my study. It was the Chemical Composition of Food and it is a Summary of changes in the mineral content of 17 fruits between 1940 and 1991.
These are two pages of the book content. The left side showing fruit nutrient content of organic vs convetional fruits and the right page is about the increase of pesticides in our conventional fruit.
