This is my creative form project as a student at the BA top-up programme at Via Design (TEKO). I worked out from the sculpture "Contingent"(1969) by Eva Hesse. I was intrigued by the colours and material combination in the beginning, but digging deeper into the story behind the artist and the thoughts behind the sculpture I became even more interested. The concept about life as something unpredictable and uncertain and how this can be seen as something abstract and surrealistic. Out from this concept, I made a dress in silicone, organza, painted with acrylic paint. I wanted my photos to show something abstract and surrealistic, have a long silhouette and capture the mood and colours I got from my analysis of my sculpture.
