A line of retail boxes created for VisionTek's R9 300 series graphics cards, including the R7 360, the R7 370, the R9 380, the R9 390, the R9 390X, and the R9 Fury X.
I also created various graphics and a video to help VisionTek showcase the line.
The five boxes design for the lower-end and high-performance R9 300 series graphics cards sold by VisionTek. The art featured a series of flaming or smoking skulls to better target the PC gaming community. These boxes measure 8 inches tall by 13 inches wide by 2 inches deep, and for the first time in a long time, VisionTek chose to put all cards in this series in the same size box, versus going with smaller boxes for the lower-end cards.
The R9 Fury X came in an oversized box due to its unique factory,installed, closed-loop liquid cooling system. VisionTek wanted the card to really stand out, so we opted to do a tall box instead of a wide one, and wrap the flaming skull graphic around the edge. This box measures 16 inches tall by 8 inches wide and 6 inches deep.
Included inside the R9 Fury X box was this Quick Install Guide, which walked users through installing the closed-loop graphics card, offered a coupon, and (using a QR code) provided a link to a full installation guide available online.
A Facebook banner created to tease the line, showing one of the "wicked" box designs in detail. A similar banner was created for the VisionTek website.
A web banner created to show off the line of graphics cards as a whole. The photography was done by me as well. This banner was used on the VisionTek website, with a variation used on Facebook as well as VisionTek's Amazon store.
The R9 Fury X Unboxing and Installation video, which I wrote, hosted, and directed. The video was edited by DelFab Designs.
