This was the beginning of a powerful payments project created at SAPO, which would evolve and go through several name changes. In the beginning it was simply called "Pay", and I was asked to design a logo for it.
Today, Pay is MEO Wallet and can be used by consumers and merchants alike, all over Portugal, supporting every conceivable digital payment method, and carries its own corporate logo which follows MEO's guidelines.

Because of the strong colour, the logo can easily be used on a dark background without any changes.
This is a simple study of a monochrome version. The curves might need a little tweaking, but this version was never really necessary, so it ended up not being totally polished.
