Understanding the experience from unboxing to achieving a fitness goal
As the culmination of the first phase of the miCoach product launch, and as the starting point for the second phase of design discovery, we conducted an extended study of the full miCoach user experience.

With about 8-10 participants, we began our research at the moment of "unboxing" the miCoach suite of products, allowing us to gain insights on the packaging, the form factor of the actual hardware, the accompanying collateral, and a general sense of what the customer would do first.

Over the course of approximately eight weeks, we collected information and insight at a number of milestones on the real-life miCoach customer journey, giving the experience design team an unprecedented look at the holistic experience that would prove invaluable to evolving the next and future phases of design.
