Art cooperative Elestial Sound jumpstarted a monthly event in which to collaborate with non-local touring artists and musicians. Dubbed Prototypes, these events seek to engage both audience and performer in ways that bend expectations and continually surprise those involved.
A prototype is a rough model intended to act as a stand-in for the eventual result, but there is beauty in their impermanence. These art installations and performances are one-night only, so I sought to emulate their transience with a bunch of quick drawings and generative illustrations. Each small drawing carries little water when viewed on its own, but together, they are strong.
