| LAGOM F/W 15/16

LAGOM is my first fashion collection designed during my first year in Fashion Design Master in UBI - Universidade da Beira Interior, 2014/2015
The collection was born from the concept Chaos - the New Order in which I was focused in finding organization and structure in the design.
I applied those concepts also inspired in what I had lived in Finland (during my ERASMUS program) which led me to the japanese culture and automatically to the traditional japanese shibori print.
So the design turned to be inspired in those prints but applied in a modern way with a more graphic line the organic. The colour pallet came from the traditional shibori except the yellow which I decided to use to balance the whole design.
LAGOM is a swedish word with no direct translation but that would mean something like "just enough"" which I found was very close to what I was looking for.
After the design was completed, five looks were chosen to be sewn and presented in a runway to be happen in the fall 2015.
