TRAMA F/W 16/17
TRAMA, F/W 16/17, is fashion collection inspired by the deconstruction of the 18th century costumes and that pais a tribute to the strict relationshionship between fashion, visual and performative arts and museums, developed as the final project from the designer's master degree. It came from the desire to turn a fashion show into a sensitive experience, focused on time and having time to observe the garments closely in oposition to the fast runway shows people are used to.
The presentation took form of a live exhibition and turned into a sensitive experience through the awareness of the senses. For two hours the public could take all the time needed to interact with the models, seeing, feeling, touching and smelling the clothes. Some smells inpired in common perfumes used in the 18th centuary were intruduced into some parts of the garments through an inpregnation process of aroma microcapsules into the fabrics.
Through all, TRAMA is a fashion performance, a sensative experience and a reflextion about time in a place wich contains them all. For in a museum you can exhibit the past, the presente ando project for the future.
TRAMA was presented on 20th Septembre in Museu dos Lanifícios, in Covilhã.
