This architectural firm requested an identity that used the initials of the two partners: Ira and Michele. The exclamation mark exudes the firm's enthusiasm for their work, and while it is not exactly an apostrophe, its placement conveniently aids reading the initials as a contraction of "I AM," reflecting the team's confidence at being the best at what they do.
Being built out of simple geometric elements, the customized letterforms of the mark easily converted into a pattern. Later, custom wall coverings were created for the firm's offices.
