Passementrie, a beautiful textiles boutique in the historic La Fonda Hotel building downtown Santa Fe, is filled with a rich array of Indian and Thai silks, vibrant handprinted garments, ephemeral scarves, and vintage saris.  We were delighted to create a wonderful branding package including a new logo design, font selection, stationery, business cards, and signage for the shop.
Inspired by the artisan woodblock printing prevalent in Passementrie’s offerings, we hand-stamped our letterhead, envelopes, gift certificates, and notecards.  The logo itself references the swirling, floral patterns seen throughout Passementrie’s elegant Southeast Asian textiles.

Our business card design presents an array of eye-catching jewel tones set to change seasonally—coordinating with the collections, with debossing of the logo and hand-painted edges for a fine finish.  Signage is hand-carved wood, giving texture and presence to the new logo design on the storefront.  Lustrous gold detail ties the package together: metallic ink on the hand-stamped stationery; pressed gold foil on the business cards; and real gold leaf hand-painted on the signage.

We have also completed custom shopping bags and shipping stickers in kraft paper and jaffa orange, with gold foil and embossing, as well as hangtags and woven labels for each garment for Passementrie.  Be sure to stop by La Fonda on the Plaza at 100 East San Franciso Street, Santa Fe, to see Passementrie’s beautiful selections in person.
