Breathing is my thesis project as well as an interactive installation, which explores the “butterfly effect” – a theory that examines the affect and impact of the billions of small decisions made by human beings every waking hour of their lives.

In Breathing, gallery visitors’ movements are captured as data, which is then visualized in the expansion and contraction of tactile orbs constructed with an internal LED light. Brightness of the orb depends on the degree of expansion. A strongly lit orb conveys an increased decision-making process, revealing a side of human nature that is usually hidden and subconscious.
