I was brought on board the crew for an upcoming indie film for art direction and design. Estranged followed protagonist Isabelle, who had a tough decision to make. She chose fame over the love of her life. Years later she begins to have regrets that she feeds with drugs to subdue the pain. While reminiscing, she begins to question the value of her life and if it's worth continuing.

 

Project: Art direction and design for an independent film.

Execution: Isabelle's character is one of beauty and chaos. She's tormented by her demons. Therefore, I chose to take all the key art in a dark direction.
