With a growth of 100% and a turnover of upto 60% per annum in a new India competing for graduates; the brief to CIRCA was to analyse their London office development sketches and develop a new flexible, interactive workspace which would appeal to younger incoming staff in India. An instruction from the client was to stay away from long rectangular benching configurations; & investigate more fluid forms within the restrictions of required density from the India office.
CIRCA introduced a central flexible zone, with more organic shaped benching on the 2 long sides. The non-bookable meeting rooms were 2.1m height to allow re-location without sprinkler re-configuration. CIRCA worked with the client’s local architect, Interics, and preferred vendor, Steelcase; to develop a fast solution.
