Iceland Landscapes

We passed this farm a number of times driving East of Akureyri (rhymes with Feb-ru-ary) and it looked different each time. They were harvesting hay, I believe, all across Iceland in late July and these plastic covered bails dotted the countryside. I liked teasing the kids, but they never believed these were giant marshmellow farms.
This was our last view of the farm at about 9:00pm returning from our guided fishing trip. Still about two hours prior to actual sunset.
A small section of the stream we fished with a guide in northern Iceland. At one point, at the coast, we were within sight of the arctic circle.
