A favorite student project, this began with a specific design of the masthead logo. This design, with the curving cutouts in the letters meant to suggest the underside of a surf breaker ,informed the rest of the design with sweeping curves and a light sense of whimsy. Once the masthead was determined, actually, it kind of became an 'art director' for the rest of the publication. The result: a light, breezy, happy notional publication for a breezy, happy, fun place :the Oregon coast.
