"Bloom" is an illustration series, an EP (Editorial Pictoral), of 10 images, depicting the transition of seasons Spring to Summer. Figures flow between graphic elements, like flowers and animal characters, as each illustration explores a chapter in Nature's great transformation. Feminine figures depict the spirit of women and invokes inspiration for the viewer to delve into the bountiful world of Gaia.
A female figure emerges from the Golden Apple, fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, in all glory, signaling the Birth and Rebirth of Life.
"In the beginning of wisdom, there is knowledge. The gift is divine curiosity."
A worm figure breathes a plume of magical dust into the air, releasing Marius Janus, the spirit of Life. Springing forth, she frees the mind of the mental slave from his shackles with an open hand. In her palm, the Bloom Shard, a flourishing cascade of illuminated power, radiates healing vibrations.
Winter turns in the wake of the Solstice, a new dawn brings life to the flowers and bloom yet again. Each figure deity depicts the momentous change that occurs throughout Winter, Spring, and Summer. This triptych is exclusive to Society 6, as an art print and signature product line.
Of the many colorful birds of the forest, the wood shivers with the song from these exotic feathers. The strange and bewildering arraignment of color and sound, this flock is of the most ostentatious, their harmony is unorthodox.
The deity figurehead of the most beautiful blossom in the grove, a rare flower indeed, the Grand Ivy Rose. She graces the lawn upon full bloom, her spires wind from her petals, her smile wisps her curls. The undisputed queen of the grove, Rose flourishes in all her grandeur a grace truly heavenly.
A Skywalker tribe high priestess, the Golden Lark depicted figurehead guards the Northern winds to the valley plains. Her staff heralds her arrival, in regalia, the grass bows at her presence.
Spring leaps forward, Winter steps back, and Summer abounds. Lusting in the sun, flowers and scents dance in the humid air. Languid, two figures spin within twisting vines and plumes of sprig leaves.
Not that is all beautiful is all harmless. The allure of mysterious blooms, those roses with thorns, petals poisonous and steely stems girder a petite, but no less powerful attraction. Inhale the intoxicating draw of a distant land, stalk hidden paths writhing of ancient streams, follow the moonlight to salvation.
The season is heralded by the song of a thousand songs. Birds of every color and distinction, in every pitch and voice, the air is filled with the uplifted spirits of the coming rise. Summer comes alive in sound and the color, a symphony as deep as the forest is green.
The throne to the grove is the helm of all womanhood. The feminine spirit resides in the bloom of many blossoms and the colors of countless flowers cannot capture the charisma of a free spirit.
