In 2014, as cables inventors, NCTA prepared to launch a new Vision for the historic National Cable and Telecom Trade show, they needed to modernize the website to standards expected from todays users. The refresh focused on design and content flexibility that would aid in faster content population. The visual design needed to better align with the idea that cable is changing and needed ways to enhance the current type of photography typically shot on the show floor, while content needed to be adaptable to phased releases, and on fly news stories while the show was in session.
The new site launched in 2014, its bright color pallet and adaptable modular design advances NCTA to better reflect the future of cable, connected technologies, and ignite opportunities for attendees. The page layout templates created are responsive and modules can be mixed and remixed depending on the content that needs highlighted, giving NCTA the flexibility to move the intx show forward to crate a bold new model for attaining access, making connections and building visibility from the entire spectrum of the digital media space.
