THE CONCEPT
ContamiNacho was born as the villain of an educational part from an environmental corporation, the point was to create a character that could reassemble the fossil combustibles and the damage of them within the planet, and his actions will be the ones of people with an non property environmental conscience.
THE NACHO
ContamiNacho’s hate for the planet needed to be a little discreet, as the “real” contamination, you have to get the feeling of something naive, like if throwing something on the street will never harm the planet, that’s the whole point of ContamiNacho’s look, to be cute and a harmless-good-person with no murdering intentions.
As ContamiNacho’s concept was getting close to the end I needed to add some final details,
like choosing the color and using some trash props on his skin.
The concept of ContamiNacho was build from a collection of my dearest villains: Yzma from the Emperor's new groove, Hades from Hercules, some poison typed pokemon and the Ameba (or whatever it’s name was) team from the power puff girls. I also took some bacteria character from an illustration I made for Yakult on a college project, so, from all of this I created the Bipolar Version of ContamiNacho, the evil side of him that threatens of conquering the world, mua-ha-ha-ha.
CONTAMINACHO AT PLACES
I hate backgrounds, because of my outlined-less way of illustrating, but with this project I wanted to
push my design a little bit further (you’ll see at the end when he is taking the sun at the beach), but when I was ready to start putting ContamiNacho into situations and funny places the project was cancelled (but I’m flawless so I decided to share my process with you).

ContamiNacho will be always using some little cute sombrero, he will be constantly changing outfits so he can get by without being noticed.
Jimena Oropeza (the best animation artist in the world) helped me to give ContamiNacho a bouncy movement and to show how he will be used when we get to the point of making some institutional videos (a point that will never be).

So this is EvilContamiNacho, I love him and I wanted to share his lovely existence to the world, you kids stop throwing trash where its not suppose to be, use the car less, use the bicycle more, but don’t become vegan because that’s boring
