RE GEORGE LLOYD , RECENT PAINTINGS
My object in putting together the exhibition , GEORGE LLOYD , RECENT PAINTINGS , was to provide the viewer with a window directly focused upon my current work. During this past decade, I have made a great number of modest sized pictures . In that respect, I thought that the small side gallery at Greenhut would be a place ideally suited to display a selection of them . The exhibit , which contains 7 paintings and 3 works on paper , is representative of the two types of pictures which I have been in the habit of making : oil paintings , and works on paper in watercolor and other media.
