Eladios is a beloved restaurant-bar with a great tradition in the city of Merida , and we recently been commissioned a collection of pictures to be placed in different areas of his establishment on the occasion of his 5th anniversary .

It was great to work with the fun and iconic figure of Don Eladio, creating to him a story and personality rooted in our context and culture. All parts derived from our traditions , history, slang and way of acting .

The illustrations represent varied concepts as the game ball, a Yucatecan serenade or pictures of fictional ancestors of Don Eladio through the history of Yucatan  .

This project has been a team work with the participation all the members that now are supporting me. Most of the colored work ran account from Gaspar Pantoja, while Pilar Caamal and Cesar Escalante that assisted on the largely process. I am very pleased with the response team !
