The goal of this assignment was to create a chap book using Adobe InDesign CS5 software. The book was to tell a visual and verbal story using borrowed and self-authored text, as well as through self-generated images. For my book, I used the lyrics to a Japanese pop song called "Konna ni Chikaku de…" by Crystal Kay. My self-authored text was the translation of the song that I wrote, located on the last page/back cover of the book. All of the illustrations were drawn in Adobe Photoshop CS5. I used the "orihon" construction method to bind the pages together.
