Natasha Jen and her team designed an interface for Android phones that re-imagines apps as a kit of parts in constant transformation. The modulated apps reassemble each time when the phone is unlocked, forming new objects, such as a robot, a pet, pieces of iconic architecture, and other playful animated objects.
