Improve an existing design for the elderly to help in their daily life.

Prototype

I've changed a regular walking cane for the elderly and improved it to help them sit down and get back up without effort.

The problem with a lot of older people is that their back hurts when they sit down or get back up. So I improved a regular cane and made 'The Comfort Cane',  this cane can help you sit down comfortably.

It's very easy in use, you just pull the handle and lean on the cane. When you put pressure on the cane, it will go down with you and become shorter, because of the airspring (similar to desk chairs).
 

So now you're sitting down and the cane is shorter! Which makes it easier to get back up, because now it's lower and easier to put on more pressure. This way you can stand up without pain or effort.
