It's Easter break and my son Conor (aged 8) has been busy creating news stories for his newspaper, The Conor Chronicles. I was so impressed with his commitment to write and then type these two stories, I thought his newspaper was deserving of a grand title animation. Something epic that would do the masthead, The Conor Chronicles justice.
Once I showed this to Conor, Sam my other son then wanted his name on the big screen. This then led me to create the following animation. Element 3D in After Effects is brilliant to use and the control and speed it offers makes putting an animation like this together fun. The added optical flares are created by a plugin from Video CoPilot too.
