The 63 kilo campaign is a campaign made for the danish movement "Stop Spild af Mad", in english "Stop Food Waste". The movement was founded in 2008, as a reaction to the fact that every Dane wastes 63 kg food every year. At the same time 6 million children around the world dies of hunger every year.

As a future goal "Stop Food Waste" would like to make a nationwide campaign. This gave me the idea to physically visualise the campaign in urban spaces in Danish cities.
In the campaign, drawings that "Stop Food Waste" have made for their homepage, are used actively. The messages of the drawings are a number of good advice on how not to waste food at home.

One part of the drawing, the "man", is projected on the ground with removable paint. The other part, above a fridge, is casted in concrete. When standing in the circle in front of the piece, the two elements interact and the viewer gets the whole picture in the right perspective.
