ILLUSTRATIONS
2012-2015
As a kid, I was addicted to anime and manga. As a consequence, I had a dream to become a manga-ka (manga artist), a dream I aborted years after. I started drawing passionately,by traditional means, my own characters having always as a reference the anime-style from the famous series of Pokémon. I became myself what is called ‘self-taught’ in anime style.
In 2006 I purchased my first graphic tablet and started adding color to my drawings. The next year, I earned the 2nd place in the first ‘Manga contest’ in Greece. Miraculously, in 2008, Helexpo Greece organised the ‘Manga Shakespeare’ contest where I earned the 1st place. My four-paged manga was published in Eleutherotypia's insert, ‘9’ receiving along with heart-warming critiques from the judges.
Four years later, I earned the ‘Daily Deviation’ from Deviantart for my illustration ‘La Belle et la Bete’.
All the illustrations are made digitally using a graphic tablet and Photoshop or Paint Tool Sai.
