Mariner Holtz is a wood preserver who pride themselves on their natural/ organic methods to cure and preserve the wood which they then assign to companies. As well as this they are a company that produces particularity aesthetic products, from garden fences and furniture to wood floors and construction timber.The establishment of “wood treatment” as new market category. Their specialties offer a wide range of comfortable living atmosphere from rustic decor to modern facade solutions.
My thought process development design proposal is from wood block and wood texture as related to the theme of the brand. Therefore, I did research anything related to wood (wood tools, texture, colour, old school typography..). It has driven my concept come up with wood block, letter ‘M’ and I started to develop some sketches, and play around different scheme it can be. In addition, my clients request that from rustic decor to modern facade solutions and keep wood’s own unique character. As the corporate identity design worked on earth tone colour, because it is all
about the wood. I found that it would be favorable if I keep it simple rather than go with few totally differnt colour to match the elements.
