"The cause of W.A.CY is to gain money for many causes that affect our life, culture and society here in Cyprus. The war is just outside our houses and with our island’s history, we should be ready for anything and be aware. This perticular organization already helped refugee families, families that live in poverty, as well as children who lost their family, all here in Cyprus, by finding them shelter, offer them food and providing them education.
The new campaign W.A.CY is launching, is about the war in the East, with followers of Jihad to be more powerfull than ever. The main problem of that,is that many people of Islam desecranated the meaning and sense of Jihad, thus creating a whole new era of terrorism.
W.A.CY’s new campaign cause is to inform people about this perticular war, with an additional donation solicitation to help people and mostly children in Syria and Afghanistan who lost their families and need medical care and treatment. The donation for this cause will last for about three months.The slogan “I helped a heart keep on beating” sums up the campaign’s cause."
